BLUE
Remake of Into the Blue. This movie is very good Indian attempt of trying to recreate the magic and excitement of the original. The brother and brother’s girlfriend (bhabi saman) cliché is still around, its time we looked beyond it. What the heck, if my brother’s girlfriend was plunging neckline, awesome bodied Lara frickin Datta, I would have gone after her full throttle!
Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan are eye sores; Akshay Kumar is good as usual. Lara, what can I say, see her on the big screen. 100% drool quotient, leaves you gasping for more. Photography is brilliant, period.
Do not waste your time watching anything else these holidays. Blue should be first on your list. It is not stretched, done in two hours. Stunts are good, use of overseas experts has helped. It’s a welcome relief from the Yash Chopda or Whiney Johar lock, stock and family choking barrels of mushy, watery boredom thrown our way every festival time. Go and lust after Lara and wish you can dive deep into the blue with her.
This movie is much better than any Shahrukh Khan ham (with the exception of Dilwale).
Absolutely watchable.
